CROSS COUNTRY NEWS

WEDNESDAY TRIANGULAR VS. A/W AND RIDGEWOOD The Rebels went to the Kewanee Dunes Golf Course Wednesday (Sept. 16) for a triangular meet with Annawan/Wethersfield and Ridgewood. The Rebel Girls finished second to a very strong Ridgewood team. Team scoring for the race was Ridgewood (33), Stark County (43) and A/W (50). Alyssa Dyken (5th - 22:20) was first to finish for the Girls. The other four team scorers were Lena Becker (6th - 23:44), Paige Rewerts (7th - 24:11), Trinity Shimmin (10th - 24:51) and Riley Menssen (15th - 26:23). Also finishing for the Girls were McKenzie Stahl (16th - 27:01) and Kimora Barnwell (17th - 27:10). The Boys race was won by Ridgewood with a perfect 15 score as neither the Rebels nor A/W had the required 5 finishers for a team score. With two of the Boys out with injuries, the Boys would only had 4 runners in the race. Caden Daum (4th - 18:58) continued his strong season leading the Boys across the finish line. Payton Stahl (5th - 19:40) was next followed by Colby Carroll (9th - 21:24) and Jack Winans (11th - 22:01). Alyssa, Caden and Payton were awarded medals for their top 5 finishes in their respective races. Medal Winners Results
